Food? I like food!
Warning: Street vendors, small family-owned restaurants, beach barbecues, international restaurants, holiday cookouts, and the sheer deliciousness of everything here can be quite tempting. There is no going hungry here in Rayong. And if you are worried about your waistline, hit up the Tree Roots Gym on Mae Rumphueng Beach to burn off some of that delicious food.
Any food-related questions?
Ask away! I’ve eaten nearly everywhere here — but because the Rayong Beach Blog is new, I haven’t had much time to write about everywhere yet.

Since opening a couple years ago, Pizzeria Sofia has gained a reputation as the best pizza in Rayong — and possibly all of Thailand!! (Menu photos further down.) Located right in front of The Royal Rayong, the smell of Sofia’s gourmet pizzas drifting down Mae Rumphueng Beach is irresistible.
One of the most popular bars and most delicious restaurants on Mae Rumphueng Beach is Purple Haze. They serve authentic Indian cuisine that is finger-licking good and a variety of other light appetizers and munchies. They also have the most fully stocked bar on the beach, so come thirsty!
